Behind the work

Savannah is a FAA Part 107 commercial drone pilot based in Central Illinois, originally from Austin, Texas. She has spent the past 15 years documenting severe weather and the natural world as a storm chaser and photographer. Her work has appeared on the cover of TIME Magazine, in National Geographic, and across numerous national and international media outlets.

With a background in severe weather documentation, aerial cinematography, sports coverage, and commercial drone work, Savannah brings field tested skill and a sharp creative eye to every assignment.
